Daily Workflow:
» Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various types of gates including sliding gates,
swing gates, barrier arms, and more
» Conduct regular inspections to ensure gate systems are functioning properly
» Diagnose issues with gate motors, sensors, keypads, intercoms, and other components.
» Program access codes and configure remote controls for clients
» Utilize heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, and crane trucks for
various installation and maintenance tasks
» Carry out manual labor, including lifting, digging, and other tasks, as required
We’re Seeking (skills, education and screenings):
» Possess at least 2 years of experience working with gate automation systems
» Familiarity with various brands of automation equipment such as LiftMaster and Viking Access Systems is preferred
» Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer and passion of an Institute of Door Dealer Education & Accreditation (IDEA) from the Institute of Door is preferred
» Have strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring
» Ability to read blueprints or schematics related to gate installations
» Must be able to carry out manual labor, including lifting, digging, and other tasks as required
» Must pass drug screen (THC okay)
Schedule:
» Monday – Friday; 8 am - 4:30 pm
