Local dealership service department seeking an entry-level Mechanic 1 to join their team! As a Mechanic 1, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on vehicles. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in vehicle maintenance and is eager to grow their skills in a hands-on environment. Training will be provided, but some prior experience in a mechanic role is preferred.

Daily Workflow:
» Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
» Adhere to safety protocols and dealership-specific standards for vehicle servicing.
» Assist with vehicle diagnostics using basic diagnostic tools.
» Communicate vehicle issues and repair needs to customers clearly and professionally.
» Support more experienced mechanics in complex repairs as needed.
We’re Seeking (skills, education, and screenings):
» Some experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanic roles preferred.
» Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components.
» Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
» Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
» Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced mechanics.
» Must pass a drug test (THC ok)
» Must pass Background Check
» Must pass DMV Record Check
Schedule:
