Forklift /Material Handler

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF RECENT RELATED EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a Bilingual Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join a leading mattress manufacturing company in Waco, TX!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm (Occasional OT)

Forklift Operator/Material Handler Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of recent related experience
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write, and count.
• Ability to lift 50+lbs
• Able to stand for 8+ hours during your shift
• Prior experience in roles such as a Warehouse Associate, Loader/Unloader, Forklift Operator or Production Assistant is a big plus!

Forklift Operator/Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Move raw materials, supplies, and finished products to and from production areas. 
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are properly documented and managed.
• Load and unload shipments, verify incoming and outgoing materials, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications. 
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies to supervisors or quality control staff. 
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping duties when needed.
