HVAC Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate

MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN THE HVAC INDUSTRY + FORKLIFT EXP

Connect staffing is hiring a bilingual HVAC Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate for an HVAC company to assist in the warehouse in the city of Houston, TX.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00PM

Requirements for the HVAC Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate:

• Minimum 1 year of experience on HVAC Industry
• Experience operating a forklift
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required for this position. 
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen and possess a valid driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong basic computer skills
• Must be able to stand and walk the entire scheduled shift and also bend frequently, twist, reach, stretch, kneel,
  squat, push, pull, and lift up items that may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Prior experience in roles such as Counter Sales Associate, Warehouse Counter Sales Representative, HVAC Counter Sales Associate, Parts Counter Representative, Counter Sales and Warehouse Associate, HVAC Inside Sales Representative, Distribution Center Sales Associate, Parts and Service Counter Associate

Responsibilities of the HVAC Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate:

• Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers in person, by phone, or email to resolve issues, answer questions, and increase sales.

• Deliver excellent customer service through strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and effective communication of policies and procedures.

• Accurately enter and retrieve customer orders, quotes, inventory, and pricing information using the computer system.

• Handle products safely, including loading customer vehicles for easy and secure transport.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor, including tasks like front-facing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.

• Perform inventory tasks such as cycle counts and assist with receiving and order fulfillment, requiring attention to detail and number recognition.

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support warehouse and customer service operations.

• Follow up with customers for after-sale service, promote current offers, and encourage repurchases and cross-selling.
