7:30am – 4:00pm (M-F); 30 Minute Lunch
Pay: $60K - $65K (Depends on Experience)

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist will partner closely with employees and the management team to provide excellent support and elevated levels of customer service across the organization. This position will provide day-to-day Human Resources (HR) administrative support to the Human Resources Manager (HR Manager) and the leadership team as necessary as well as the coordination of benefits, training and development and other HR programs and activities as needed for employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews, reviewing applicant data through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), (Isolvedhire), assisting hiring managers with candidate pre-screening, scheduling interviews, and overseeing onboarding logistics and tasks.

Oversee the recruiting and onboarding and offboarding process.

Coordinate and administer HR programs such as recruiting, training, and employee relations.

Conduct new hire orientation by providing orientation information packets; reviewing pertinent company policies; explaining benefit programs and present an overview of use of the HRIS (Isolved).

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Provide support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters.

Support the HR Manager with the administration and communication of HR policies and procedures.

Partner with the HR Manager on compliance, employee engagement, and process improvements as needed.

Support sales and quality with customer support items through the ISN database as necessary to obtain, create, and upload any HR documents as required by customers. This includes scheduling training for Field Services employees to go on-site as well as other employees the customer requests.

Prepare and maintain required regularly scheduled HR, Safety or Operations reports (headcount, turnover, birthdays, years of service, etc.).

Create flyers and prepare email notifications to all employees on upcoming events. Maintain plant- wide bulletin boards with current compliance posters, benefits and other information, and job postings.

Coordinate, execute, and assist in the planning of company sponsored events for appreciation, training, and benefits enrollment.

Conduct and assist in the preparation of annual internal/external audits for the Human Resources department and other departments such as Finance and HQ.

Maintain and organize documents, correspondence, and personnel files including associates on FMLA and Leaves of absence.

Back-up to payroll processing.

Coordinate and conduct training and development programs for staff.

Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Other duties as assigned by the HR Manager and/or executive leadership.
Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. Associates degree and combined experience may be considered.

Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist and recruiter role.

Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to communicate with all areas and levels of the company.

Proficient in administrative skills.

Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.); knowledge/ experience within Isolved or other similar HRIS system preferred.

Excellent oral, written communication, and proofreading skills.

Ability to manage sensitive, highly confidential matters including employee relations and company files.

Active participation in team meetings and training.

Ability to work unsupervised/unaccompanied.

Exceptional time-management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.

Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.

Must be able to work on-site Monday through Friday. Flextime may be available.
