Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Chase Staffing is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist for a client in the Cartersville, GA area.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Duties

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policies.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload goods safely.
• Perform order picking and packing for e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring that all orders are accurately filled and packaged.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes.
• Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to manage inventory levels effectively.
• Handle packaging materials efficiently to minimize waste while ensuring product safety during transit.

Skills

• Proficient in operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes, order fulfillment, and stocking procedures.
• Familiarity with e-commerce operations and packaging requirements.
• Strong basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with RF scanners for inventory management is preferred.
