This is considered a heavy industrial position,
Must be ok with working lots of over-time including Saturdays if needed hours are normally Monday thru Friday 5am-330/4pm or 6am-5pm Most weeks the person can work 45-60/70 hours per week
Someone that has worked in Food manufacturing/Food warehouse experience with (GMPS are a huge plus)
$16.00-$18 PER HOUR TO Start. There is room for lots of over-time and there is growth potential
The Production Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of production line jobs and warehouse functions in safe and efficient manner, in a clean indoor food production facility. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): supporting, planning, organizing and controlling production with a goal of increasing efficiency, quality and productivity, ensuring a uniform method of receiving and handling bulk oil to verify that the material received matches the ingredient ordered to maintain the purity of ingredients during unloading and routing.
Responsibilities:

Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, working additional overtime as needed

Maintain good personal hygiene. Wear designated uniform maintained in good
condition -
Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

Perform all work activities in a safe manner. Maintain a safe and clutter free work area Clean up all spills immediately

Efficiently and safely operate assigned machinery
-
Place production orders from customers
-
Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
-
Follow all procedures, adhering to all safety policies and procedures
-
Assist with inventory process as requested
-
Work cooperatively and efficiently with coworkers in all departments with little supervision to achieve team, department and company goals

Complete production assignments in a timely manner and in accordance with departmental schedules. Position may require working alternate hours or weekends to meet customer delivery requirements.

Examine products to verify quality and consistency.
-
Perform quick and efficient changeovers to limit downtime.
-
Clean equipment following completion of production cycle.

Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, carry and reach as needed.

Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.

Bilingual – Spanish and English

Have a High School diploma or equivalent.

Forklift Experience Preferred

Other duties as needed. Which may include helping clean the warehouse or common areas if needed
Schedule:
8-12 hour shift
Monday thru Friday 5am-330/4pm or 6am-5pm
Overtime as needed and
Saturdays occasionally
