Job Summary
A growing food manufacturing facility is seeking a Production Lead to support fast-paced daily operations and assist plant management with performance, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a track record of motivating teams in a manufacturing setting.
This role involves coordinating production floor activity, training employees, ensuring safety and food compliance, and driving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities

Promote a Safety-First culture and help eliminate food safety risks.

Support environmental, health, and safety performance goals.

Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations (OSHA, SQF, GMP, HACCP, FDA).

Lead and train production staff; model effective communication and leadership.

Manage daily production operations and warehouse coordination.

Communicate and resolve urgent operational issues effectively.

Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.

Prepare daily reports and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
-
2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a food or manufacturing environment

Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)

Strong computer skills, especially in Excel

Willingness to work 40–65 hours per week, including some Saturdays

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Mechanically inclined (preferred)

Skilled in team building and conflict resolution

Able to multitask, prioritize, and make effective decisions

Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
