Client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking qualified bench technicians who have hands-on experience Repairing Industrial Electronics Equipment . They require actual component level repair experience when hiring for this type of position.
DIRECT HIRE POSITION
Hours: 7am-4pm (M-F) or 8am-5pm (M-F)
Pay: $20/$27 (Depends on Experience)
This client repairs a wide range of Industrial Electronics including, but not limited to:
-
Servo Drives, Inverters, VFD's, Spindle Drives, Soft-starts, AC & DC Drives
-
HMI's, Industrial PC's, Monitors & Industrial Touchscreens
-
Industrial Power Supplies, & Power Conditioners
-
PLC's, Chart Recorders & Temperature Controls
-
Teach Pendants, Scanners & Crane Controls
-
Industrial Circuit Boards (usually from drives, power supplies, etc)
Technicians are not only required to have experience with the types of equipment listed above, but they are also required to fully evaluate each type of unit down to the component level & upon approval, order & track the necessary parts & components needed for the repair. Techs are also expected to properly document all work orders on a daily & weekly basis. Once a unit is repaired, the technician is responsible for doing a full function test of the unit as well as running repaired units under load.

Please be prepared to answer questions like the following:
Do you have experience w/ replacing & troubleshooting Caps, Diodes, Resistor & traces etc?
What is your experience w/ circuit board component level troubleshooting, repair & evaluation.
Describe in detail your current soldering / de-soldering skills as well as methods & tools used.
Talk about your experience (if any) with SMPS Units / Chopper Power supplies .
