Chase Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The Sample Lab Technician is responsible for producing faultless and high-quality samples and compound mixtures in accordance with R&D and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- 1. Adhere to the approved budget and introduce suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the manager.
2. Stimulate continuous standardization and optimization of processes and organizational structures and implement corresponding measures in consultation with the manager.
3. Ensure an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
4. Document efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems.
5. Procure the raw materials and intermediate products specified in recipes from the respective warehouse or cold storage or by requesting from the plant, weighing, scanning and provision for the production of samples and compound mixtures.
6. Produce samples and compound mixtures by processing raw and intermediate products in accordance with recipes and production and operating instructions from Application and Recipe Management.
7. Homogenize, pasteurize, carbonize, fill, and package samples and compound mixtures by operating the corresponding production facilities.
8. Taste developed products.
9. Clean and maintain laboratory aids, production facilities and the surrounding areas.
10. Sample and carrying out quality checks in terms of sensory properties and in accordance with chemical and physical specifications (e.g., Brix, acidity, pH value).
11. When a complaint is received, support the manager/team in conducting error analysis and creating a new sample.
12. Execute stock takes and stock adjustment postings if necessary.
13. Report repair and maintenance requirements to the respective team leader and check the execution and subsequent commissioning
Requirements
1. Proficient in Microsoft office – word, excel, and outlook.
2. Ability to do math problems – ratios, percentages, etc.
