Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Production Technician in the White, GA area. The Wafer Production Technician (DWS Operation) is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and output of the diamond wire saw (DWS) machines. This includes performing basic repairs, cleaning, and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions. The technician must work quickly and effectively to maintain high production standards and escalate more complex issues to the Engineer, Shift Supervisor when necessary. Safety and quality are top priorities, and the technician is expected to follow all operational protocols to ensure these standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to understand and optimize complex machinery operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of daily production. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow organization. This is a fast-paced environment. The proper management of workflow organization ensures the timely delivery of high-quality products.


Swing Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm OR 6:00pm – 6:30am

Schedule: two days on, two days off

Pay rate: $22.50 - $23.50 per hour


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs shift-based work as required.

    Manages material input and replacement to ensure uninterrupted machine operation.

    Maintains the cleanliness of machines and components using tools such as hoses, air guns, IPA, rags, vacuums, and other small devices.

    Promptly addresses machine alarms.

    Monitors equipment settings, escalating deviations to the Shift Lead or Supervisor when necessary.

    Observes and addresses defect spikes, ensuring timely responses.

    Replaces, repairs, or adjusts machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications.

    Applies adhesives, lubricants, or other materials following standard procedures to ensure proper machine operation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

    Understanding of quality standards, health, and safety regulations.

    Familiarity with manufacturing tools and equipment.

    Able to use precision hand eye coordination and dexterity, as position requires working with fine tungsten wire.

    Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in solar or semiconductor industries.
