CNC Supervisor/Liberty, SC - DIRECT HIRE
Hours: 10:30pm – 7am (Sunday – Thursday)
Pay: $19/$24 (Depends on Experience)
Description
Job Summary:
To oversee the production process of the department by monitoring the efficacy of the department, improve operating processes, by analyzing and reporting data for the continuous operation of the area.
Essential Functions of the Job:

Must always demonstrate leadership and be a “hands on” team player

Work as a liaison between all departments concerning quality

Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to address employee issues

Work across multiple shifts (and overtime) to communicate quality requirements, training needs and efficiency improvements.

Work with Department manager and om improvement ideas or issues with current processes
-
Monitor product standards, examine samples of castings or direct testing during processing to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality

Train existing and new employees in the Machining or Finishing area and records the data

Implement production schedule set forth by manager

Responsible for assigning employees to daily work tasks

Monitors and records daily attendance, tardiness, vacation information

Monitors to keep employees at their workstations except for scheduled breaks

Takes proper disciplinary measures with employees per company policy

Ensures employees be conscious of and follow proper safety procedures set forth by management
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to work with limited supervision and ability to multi-task.

Computer knowledge and 1-2 years of Windows applications experience preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years manufacturing experience, preferred.

Two- or four-year college degree preferred but not required.

Previous supervision or leadership experience.

Ability to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
