Laser Set-up & Operator
POSITION SUMMARY:
Set up, Running and light maintenance of Mitsubishi CO2 lasers model 3015eX CO2 Lasers
Set-up and run Prototype and production parts on CO2 lasers
Follow all processes & procedures daily
Responsible for following the housekeeping policies and ensure that all equipment, tools, samples, material, scrap, etc. are kept & put in their proper locations
Responsible for interpretation of specifications, blueprints
Inspect & verify parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications per print
Accurately recording of production data to meet process requirements
Follow production schedules & instructions as required
Assist in establishing activities to meet production schedules, using knowledge of department capacities
Perform all job function to meet acceptable quality system and work procedures
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
Also suggest changes in working conditions & use of equipment to increase efficiency of production processes
May be required to follow other job-related instructions & duties as requested, subject to all applicable state & federal laws
Capable of assisting & lifting of items up to 50 pounds occasionally
Capable of assisting & lifting of items up to 25 pounds frequently

Computers, evaluating parts and using precision measuring instruments
Accommodations for hearing ability to monitor machine sounds to identify & diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action
Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must posses the ability to check laser cut parts to print using basic shop math and industry standard precision measuring tools
Training & Experience: Previous experience on same make and model machine a plus but not necessary.
Computers, evaluating parts and using precision measuring instruments.

Ability to communicate with others
