Shipping Clerk

Hours, 7:00am-3:30pm. Pay, $15/hr. Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments. They must prepare items for shipment per standard procedures and/or customer requirements. Assist in receiving incoming shipments to inventory. Provide timely and effective communication and coordination with all departments within the company. Job Requirements: Accurately package, label, and ship products. Prepare the bill of ladings; checks items to be shipped against packing slips to ensure that quantities, destination, and routing are correct. Operate a forklift in loading and unloading shipments. Record and file shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
