Position: Material Handler
Pay Rate/Range: $14.00
Description: Receives and unloads freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies items received with purchase order; wraps, packages, and ships supplies, delivers and retrieves supplies to and from work or storage areas; tags and issues supplies; stocks shelves and rotates inventory; may receive, store, and ship flammable, or caustic and hazardous material; may maintain equipment. Other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

• Standing on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day, in non-climate controlled environment
Other Skills/Abilities:
• Knowledge of basic math skills, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
• Good written/oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Inventory data entry knowledge
• Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools, and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, assets, and techniques used for maximizing the manufacturing of products
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
