Description: quick to grasp computer programs, detailed, computer literate, previous buying experience a plus. purchasing works and negotiates with suppliers to purchase goods and services for the company. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:
evaluating suppliers by considering price quality availability and other criteria
interviewing vendors to learn about product services and pricing
negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers verifying purchases by comparing them to a master list
interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records, and inventories
Looking for one to two years’ experience as an entry level buyer
Dress Code - shirt with sleeves, pants, tennis shoes, nothing revealing, nothing offensive
Job Type: Temporary to full time
Shift/Schedule: 1st shift 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 am to 12:30 pm Fridays
