Position: Welder/Fitter
Pay Rate/Range: $18.00
Description: the Wilder/fitter is responsible for fabricating machinery per filtra systems company prints
Job Duties:
- responsible for the integration of core competencies into daily functioning
- commitment to integrity, knowledge quality of work
- Welds components per given welding specifications
- build quality products using all information supplied by engineering in a timely fashion and satisfactory to quality specifications
- follows all quality control guidelines and here's to all safety protocols and company policies
- responsible for aiding in own self development open
- responsible for keeping own immediate work area neat and orderly
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Specific Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32nds
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Possess knowledge of PPE compliance
- Knowledge of shop math
- Ability to be trained to drive a forklift and operate various cranes and hoists
Job Type: Temporary to full time
Shift/Schedule:
Day Shift: 6am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday
