Position: Warehouse Technician
Pay Rate/Range: $15 to $17 per hour DOE
Job Description: Pull orders according to documented pick list and stage them for the next step in the manufacturing process following approved guidelines while helping to maintain inventory accuracy, production schedules, and work area cleanliness. Safely pull all necessary parts from the Warehouse to assemble the order as documented on the pick list. Stage pulled orders with all necessary parts in preparation for the next stage of the assembly process. Safely stock parts as directed by the Production Supervisor according to documented part number and bin location. Provide appropriate information for the inventory tracking system as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy. Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position. Support the maintenance of shop equipment. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties. Complete all paperwork in the required manner and period. Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change. Follow and support established HSE programs. Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team members if necessary. All other duties or tasks as assigned. Ability to identify part numbers and safely stock shelves. Working knowledge of computer software packages such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to speak, write and read English. Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects. Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines. Directly impacts workplace safety through active participation in HSE programs and safe work practices. Indirectly impacts quality and safe operations in the field by ensuring the correct components are pulled from inventory and provided to Assembly as stated on the work orders. Indirectly impacts customer satisfaction through product quality and on-time delivery.
Job Requirements: High School Diploma, GED (General Education Degree), or equivalent. At least one (1) year shop experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Constant lifting, kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing. Frequent use of computer equipment includes laptops, monitors, keyboards, mouse, scanner, and printer. Frequent use of company-designated software programs includes ERP, employee time tracking software, and office productivity software packages. Frequent use of manual lift equipment such as pallet jacks.
Shift: M-F, 7:00AM – 3:45PM with a 45-minute unpaid lunch period. Overtime and some Saturday work may be required based on business needs.
