Position:  1st Shift Quality Coordinator


Pay Rate/Range: The hourly rate will depend on level of experience $18-$20 hour


Description: As a Quality Coordinator, you will assist the team to ensure that quality documentation is accounted for and properly secured in the system of records. 

•    Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.

•    Comply with all company policies and procedures. 

•    Conducts himself/herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative, and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.

•    Create quality packets.

•    Supply quality documents to project managers.

•    Transfer existing procedures to the new standard format.

•    Assist team with transmittals, as needed.

•    Collaborate with shop quality technicians to ensure floor documentation is factual and accurate.

•    File material test reports.

•    Liaison between quality and other departments to address quality issues.

•    Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency. 

•    Tasks completed on time, percentage of documentation completed on time. 

•    Perform other assigned tasks as needed.


Job Requirements: 

•    High school diploma or GED required. 

•    Quality experience preferred.

•    Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

•    Ability to process verbal and written information quickly using solution-solving vocabulary to resolve conflicts.

•    Sense of urgency, proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional demeanor.

•    The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

•    Ability to prioritize situations and tasks by importance.

•    Attention to detail, ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities, and manage multiple demands.

•    Good organizational and follow-up skills.

•    Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).


High School or GED equivalent. Candidates interested in company-sponsored GED program will be considered.  You will have a respectful approach to working with others and prior experience with the following: 


Physical Requirements: 

•    Job requires sitting 70% of the workday.

•    Shop floor: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs).

•    Shop floor: Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.

•    Shop floor: Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical and electrical parts.

•    Shop floor: The noise level in the work environment is often loud.


Job Type:  Contract Assignment 90 days plus 


Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm with Saturday OT as required
