The Mfg. Maintenance Technician will oversee multiple locations and perform various tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. They will install and inspect machines and electrical equipment and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure industrial machines remain operational.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
Troubleshoot and identify issues in electrical systems and equipment
Install, service, and repair electrical components
Test electrical systems and devices to verify correct operation
Perform wiring
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requisitions supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
Must have reliable transportation to maintain multiple company facilities.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of related mechanical experience working in a manufacturing setting
Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
Electrical License
Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment. In depth knowledge of system maintenance.
Able to follow instructions from supervisors.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organizational and time management.
Good communication, basic computer, and reporting writing skills.
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
