Position: Material Handler Location: Carlisle Restaurant Products Pay: $18.00/hour (Starting Rate) Schedule: Monday: 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM Tuesday–Thursday: 5:30 AM – 6:00 PM Friday–Sunday: Off (occasional mandatory/voluntary OT on Fridays) Maximum Weekly Hours: 48 Job Overview: Seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to support our production operations. This role focuses on managing inventory for colorant and resin materials used in the plastic coloring process. You’ll play a key role in preparing and delivering materials to the appropriate departments, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting our rail car operations. Skills & Qualifications NEEDED: Experience in material handling, manufacturing, or inventory management Forklift experience preferred (but not required—training available) Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, including kneeling, crouching, and stooping If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a physically active role in a manufacturing setting, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities: Weigh, measure, and prepare colorant/resin materials for production orders Pull correct color materials for orders and distribute to appropriate departments Operate forklift to move pallets and fulfill material requests (previous experience NOT required, training provided if needed) Reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies Maintain organized material storage and accurate cycle counts Hook up hoses to rail cars at designated connection points (approx. 20% of the role is outdoors) Important: Approximately 20% of this role involves working outside. This includes connecting hoses to rail cars. Please ensure candidates are comfortable with outdoor work in various weather conditions.
