Maintenance Technician

Job Details: This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for repairing equipment and maintaining building and grounds to ensure the facilities are kept in good repair and working order. Essential Functions • Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations/policies. • Performs preventative maintenance, including inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve issues. • Keep maintenance records and documentation up to date using data systems and/or Excel files. • Operate Mills, Drill Press, Lathe, Grinder and hand power tools for machinist duties. • Monitor and diagnose equipment problems; troubleshoot issues during manufacturing process. • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties. • Maintain clean and orderly work areas. • Perform other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • Values safety and quality. • Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. • Knowledge and/or experience with welding and fabrication. • Mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. • Effective verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. • Capable of working with minimal supervision. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook email). • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed to support Production and facility needs, including nights & weekends. • Maintains good work ethic and attendance. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in a manufacturing environment. • Advanced troubleshooting/problem solving skills. • Knowledge of industrial electricity and able to troubleshoot control relay logic systems. • Ability to drive forklift. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
