Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is a key member of the quality team that provides quality control support in a WCM environment supporting the Oklahoma City facility. The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting product measurements and process control audits during manufacturing and testing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Job Responsibilities
• Inspect and verify RMs are correct for production orders.
• Initiate containment actions when RM do not meet specifications and/or requirements.
• Initiate containment actions when FG do not meet in-line specifications and/or requirements.
• Perform in line process checks including FAI.
• Auditing production product and processes to meet internal and ISO9001:2015 requirements.
• Understand FGs quality requirements (Advance Insulation and Component Foam).
• Inspect and verify that packaging materials (cartons, sleeves, labels, etc.) are correct for each production order.
• Obtain and prepare cut specimens for laboratory testing.
• Investigate in-line quality defects for root cause analysis utilizing QEWOs.
• Develop operator visual aids with troubleshooting guide in writing.
• Obtain production and retention data to perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) studies.
• Perform and lead investigation of customer complaints to find root cause.
• Write S.O.P’s following company guidelines.
• Perform all other tasks, projects and duties assigned by Quality Manager.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities within Quality System guidelines.
• Open to a flexible and fluid work environment. Work on any assignment as directed.

Job Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing as quality technician.
• Must have basic to medium Excel knowledge and skills to be able to perform effective statistical analysis.
• Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic knowledge ISO9001:2015 requirements.
• Must be able to read and understand product S.O.P’s.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate with management, and staff by exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, self-motivated, organized individual who is accustomed to working in a deadline-focused, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment.
• Data and results oriented; acts with a sense of urgency.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to complete task with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to take initiative to take preventive or corrective action if a defect occurs.
• Ability to understand equipment functions, manuals, process, and procedures.
