Fabrication Metal Fabricator – This position will be trained on all equipment within the department. They will work at an associate level throughout the training process and eventually become the primary person responsible for the operations of one of the stations. This position requires an ability to bend, stoop, stand in one position and lift over 50 pounds. General abilities • Machine safety • General maintenance • Organized workspace • Detail oriented • Clear communicator • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. • General understanding of design drawings (prints). • Familiar with a job traveler work folder. • Understand how to read a tape measure down to 1/32”. • Moderate understanding of quality processes. • Moderate knowledge of hand tooling and understanding of primary use. • General mathematical skills will work with fractions and decimals. • Task Oriented • Ability to record and document Department Equipment • CNC Punch Press • Manual Punch Press • Manual Circle Shears • Manual Punch • Plate Rollers • Manual Cut off Saw • Automatic Hem Saw • Band Saw • 12’ shear • Hand Drill • Base Hand Tooling
