Reports To: Project Executive
Overview: The APM collaborates with the Project Executive, Project Manager, Superintendent, and other team members to enhance project management processes, procedures, and efficiency, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Assist in client contract preparation, providing contract summaries to the Project Executive and Manager.
- Support project management through scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
- Conduct site visits as required, assisting trades and the superintendent.
- Manage progress pay applications and documentation submission.
- Coordinate subcontractor pay applications and lien release processes.
- Aid in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Procure project materials and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Facilitate owner meetings and maintain meeting materials.
- Handle subcontractor and client change orders, delay notices, and termination notices.
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
- Assist with permit and inspection coordination.
- Track project expenses and activities, ensuring accurate budget management.
- Respond to communications promptly and maintain high-quality project documentation.
- Support project staff and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits as required, assisting trades and the superintendent.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, College Degree
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience
- 3+ years experience with HIGH-RISE construction projects (Dealbreaker qualification)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- OSHA 10 certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and other relevant software
- Demonstrated success in managing 5-10 projects and supporting project staff members
