Reports To: Project Executive

Overview: The APM collaborates with the Project Executive, Project Manager, Superintendent, and other team members to enhance project management processes, procedures, and efficiency, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in client contract preparation, providing contract summaries to the Project Executive and Manager.

  • Support project management through scheduling, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
    • Conduct site visits as required, assisting trades and the superintendent.
      • Manage progress pay applications and documentation submission.
      • Coordinate subcontractor pay applications and lien release processes.
      • Aid in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
      • Procure project materials and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
      • Facilitate owner meetings and maintain meeting materials.
      • Handle subcontractor and client change orders, delay notices, and termination notices.
      • Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports.
      • Assist with permit and inspection coordination.
      • Track project expenses and activities, ensuring accurate budget management.
      • Respond to communications promptly and maintain high-quality project documentation.
      • Support project staff and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, College Degree
  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience
  • 3+ years experience with HIGH-RISE construction projects (Dealbreaker qualification)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and other relevant software
  • Demonstrated success in managing 5-10 projects and supporting project staff members
