Soldering Technician - 2nd Shift

Axiom Staffing is hiring an experienced Soldering Technician who will play critical role in the assembly of advanced connector products. You’ll work hands-on in the production environment, using precision soldering skills to ensure mechanical reliability and electrical performance

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Shift: Monday – Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM 

Pay rate: $22.50

Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual soldering of components, such as contacts, cable assemblies, and connectors according to detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
• Inspect solder joints using magnification or microscopes to ensure superior quality, adherence to IPC standards, and reliable function in harsh conditions.
• Conduct basic electrical and continuity testing upon assembly completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or soldering is a plus.
• Proficient in soldering techniques: both through-hole and surface-mount, including delicate fiber-optic assemblies.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, soldering diagrams, and production instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the majority of the workday.
