POSITION SUMMARY

Management Trainee is expected to learn all aspects of operations (administrative and field). Axiom Staffing is recruiting for this opening for one of our direct hire clients in the area. You will not work for the agency, rather you would be hired directly through the company we are recruiting for. 


Compensation

$50,000 annually plus other benefits as defined by the employee manual. 


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
  • Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
  • Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
  • Gaining knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
  • Performing administrative and field tasks as assigned.   (Learn by doing)
  • Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other senior staff.
  • Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the traineeship.
  • Following all company regulations, and health and safety codes.
  • Preparing documents and updating records.
  • Learning about conflict resolution and sitting in on disciplinary hearings.
  • Traveling to job sites and participating in daily operations as needed. 
  • Lives out the company’s purpose, mission, and values.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of management principles and practices.        
  • Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials and on computer 75-100% of time.
  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English, including strong presentation skills.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in business preferred or 5+ years of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
  • Ability to exert up to 30 lb. of force and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects, required as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and the ability to drive for the company. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially excel.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

  • Learn Various Funding Programs under the weatherization programs
  • Become proficient in utilizing energy saving modeling software by performing all activities.
  • Ride along with crews to verify quality and efficiency.
  • Resolve Customer Issues
  • Fine tune schedule for maximum efficiency
  • Attend Weekly Production Meetings
  • Create Production/Tracking Reports
  • Verify that vehicles are appropriately maintained.
