Axiom Staffing in Vinings, GA is hiring for a Bandsaw Operator for a metal fabrication warehouse located in Acworth, GA!
Shift: 2nd (12pm-8:30pm, Mon-Fri)
Pay: $18.00/hr
Location: Acworth, GA
Job Type: Contract to hire
Job duties:
- Operate bandsaws (and shears where applicable) to cut metals per customer specifications
- Efficiently pull items from inventory and process orders accurately
- Record inventory transactions and return cut stock to storage
- Wrap and package orders to ensure safe shipment
- Assist with receiving, storage, and maintenance of warehouse cleanliness
- Input basic data into computer systems to support tracking and inventory control
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds regularly
- Experience with bandsaws or other machinery required
- Quick, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable entering basic data into computer systems
- Experience in high-volume production or warehouse environments is a plus, but not required
