Axiom Staffing Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Administration Lead to oversee a team and coordinate all day-to-day activities within a busy Operations Office environment. This position is a critical leadership role that ensures efficient administrative processes, employee support, vendor coordination, and compliance with facility protocols.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and confidentiality, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. This position is for a manufacturing client in the Winchester, VA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations Administrator team and manage daily administrative functions.

  • Oversee the Employee Uniform Program.

  • Prepare for and participate in audits and inspections.

  • Serve as direct back-up for all departmental responsibilities and the Senior Manager.

  • Uphold and lead by example in supporting the facility's cultural values.

  • Manage FedEx shipping label creation, mail tracking, and internal communication postings.

  • Process invoices in compliance with company policies.

  • Coordinate with vendors on invoices, payment statements, and service follow-up.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for janitorial services and the supply ordering program.

  • Coordinate contractor access and maintain compliance records (contracts, COIs, confidentiality agreements, etc.).

  • Oversee campus bio-security access and collaborate with the contracted security team.

  • Administer training through training portals; support on-site training and development.

  • Plan and participate in employee engagement and communication activities.

  • Provide general administrative support including meeting coordination, catering, and office logistics.

  • Support the Senior Manager on special projects.

  • Take a hands-on approach to leadership and task execution.

  • Support and enforce safety and quality standards.

  • Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm (some flexibility)

  • Available to be on-call as needed

  • $25-$27/hr

 

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Minimum 3 years of administrative or operations experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional, “can-do” attitude

  • High attention to detail with excellent data entry and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal communication and customer service orientation

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Proficient with office software; SAP experience is a plus

  • Ability to type at least 60 words per minute (testing required)

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion

  • Willingness to be hands-on, flexible, and adaptable to operational needs
