Custodian

Axiom Staffing is seeking a Custodian at a local distribution company in Hanover, PA. Applicant needs to be comfortable with also doing receptionist duties.

1st shift schedule

Main Purpose:

To maintain a welcoming and inviting environment for employees and guests of the Center by cleaning the facility including restrooms, offices, elevator, and café; ensuring emergency incidents are cleaned up and area sanitized, making sure trash is cleared properly and recyclables are properly disposed of.

Core Accountabilities:

1. Responsible for thoroughly cleaning the café, meeting rooms, offices, restrooms, locker room, lounge, lobby, and other general employee areas (hallways, walkways, stairways, entrances) to include: dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, washing fixtures, cleaning windows, emptying trash, other cleaning as needed.

2. Proper use of floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, sweepers, and other industrial or commercial cleaning equipment.

3. Manage trash collection throughout the facility.

4. Manage sorting and collection of recyclables throughout the facility.

5. Manage and stock inventory of cleaning supplies.

Successful Experience:

• 1-3 years previous custodial experience in a warehouse environment.
