Plans and controls and maintains production planning activities for specified departments within SAP. Collaborates with Customer Service Managers & Planning Manager to achieve customer commitments and service levels. Communicates demand information across the facility so that everyone is aware of status, volumes, and relativeness to schedule performance metrics. Works closely with production Scheduler and cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Quality, and other teams as necessary to resolve conflicts that pertain to scheduling issues and achieve goals. Collects and maintains various pieces of scheduling/ production data in ERP, master planning tools and specific worksheets. Is responsible for ensuring that related SOP’s, tools, and other documentation is maintained & accurate. Documents key data for analysis, which includes- available capacity, anticipated downtime, peak production, and scheduling accuracy or deviations. Anticipates supply chain challenges and works proactively to minimize or avoid them. Documents production goals and overcomes deviations from these goals on a regular basis. Shows the ability to understand customer demand and how to revise production so that the demand is achieved 3 Years of production scheduling or manufacturing related experience Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of production scheduling. Demonstrate knowledge of ERP planning systems. (SAP desired) Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency using Microsoft Excel. Education and specialized skills profile: High school degree or GED equivalent (Bachelors in related field preferred) Knowledge of SAP Planning (preferred) Ability and aptitude to trouble shoot system issues and determine resolution. Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite specific to Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Environment and Behavioral profile: Detail oriented Must possess the ability to work well with little or no supervision and with a collaborative team. Demonstrates excellent time management and a sense of urgency. Work efficiently under pressure and help motivate employees/ team to meet demands. Must be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the organization. Able to presents numerical data in an effective manner. Effective communication skills – interpersonal, verbal, and written skills required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, combustible dust fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally high in specific areas. Candidate must have the ability to multitask in a demanding environment. Proficiency in German would enable interaction with another Procurement Manager Mobility and Physical Requirement profile: The work location is Barnwell. This job operates in both the manufacturing and office environment. The Manufacturing conditions are not conditioned or climate controlled.
