Shift Lead – Candlelight Concert Series Job Summary: Lead a small event crew during candlelit music performances by overseeing setup, guest services, and breakdown. This role includes hands-on support with tasks and accountability for timekeeping, reporting, and coordination with event management. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the setup of ~2,000 electric candles and assist with overall event preparation - Supervise and direct event staff throughout the shift - Greet guests, manage ticket collection, and oversee ushering process - Ensure all team members follow back safety and lifting best practices - Oversee post-event candle breakdown and packing - Accurately collect and submit timesheets for all staff on site - Serve as the main point of contact for event management and relay updates/issues Requirements: - Previous experience in event support or team leadership preferred - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and follow back safety protocols - Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to lead by example - Availability for evening and weekend shifts Schedule: Event-based, with flexible evening and weekend hours depending on performance dates. Usually 15:30-23:00
