Pay: $97,900.00 - $122,400.00 per year, depending on experience
Shift: requires flexibility and a willingness to modify hours on occasion to communicate with all teams.
CORE SHIFT IS 6TH SHIFT - BUT OVERSEES 4 SHIFTS WHEN NEEDED
6th Shift: 6:00am - 6 pm Monday- Wednesday and every other Sunday
7th shift : 6:00pm - 6 am Monday- Wednesday and every other Sunday
8th shift : 6:00am - 6 pm Thursday-Saturday and every other Sunday
9th shift : 6:00pm - 6 am Thursday- Saturday and every other Sunday

About this Opportunity:
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plastic injection molding production, ensuring that business objectives are met through strong leadership, continuous improvement, and a culture of teamwork and accountability. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive efficiency, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with ISO and medical device requirements.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead, develop, and mentor Production Supervisors and leads, to build a high-performing production team

Ensure operations meet or exceed customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and company objectives

Coordinate scheduling and resource planning to meet delivery expectations in a high-volume, multi-shift production environment

Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and preserves the well-being of all employees

Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste

Provide high level project management support for capital equipment projects, process improvements, and system enhancements for operations

Engage with customers and suppliers to build and maintain business relationships

Ensure compliance with company Quality Systems, ISO standards, and medical device manufacturing requirements
What makes you a great fit:

Associate’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field
-
5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in molding or plastics manufacturing
-
Experience in lean manufacturing, process management, and statistical process control (SPC).

Proficiency in manufacturing scheduling, capacity planning, and MRP systems.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, production layout, and process optimization.

Ability to lead teams, drive performance, and achieve short- and long-term business results.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, prioritize, and multitask
Desirable Criteria:
-
Injection molding experience, particularly in the medical device or cleanroom manufacturing industry

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field
-
Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing operation

Supervisory experience in a regulated environment

Continuing education in lean principles, operational excellence, or leadership development
