Pay Rate/Range: $20.00/hr + 4% increase after completing a 60 day introductory period
Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable CNC Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing client’s team. This individual will be responsible for operating CNC brake press machinery to produce parts that meet established specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a CNC brake press to fabricate metal components according to approved designs and production schedules
- Perform first-run part verification to ensure dimensional and quality compliance
- Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures and other precision tools
- Interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine machine settings and bend sequences
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate production status as needed
- Follow safety regulations and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Keep the work area organized and clean, reporting any mechanical issues or deviations immediately
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle, as needed
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm
