Pay Rate/Range: $25/hr + DOE
Description: A local aerospace company is seeking an experience 3-5 Axis Machinist to add to their team. The Machinist will be responsible for loading parts into machines, set up tools, run programs, detect malfunctions and changes in machining conditions, use applicable measuring tools, reading and interpreting job orders and blueprints, and inspecting machined products. Candidates hired into this role perform milling, turning, drilling, trapping, deburring, sawing and sanding tasks on a daily basis.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1 year of machinist experience required
Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude
Communication and time management skills
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as required
