Description: A local aerospace company is seeking an Assembly Supervisor well versed in various requirements of all sheet metal assembly. Responsible for coordinating the schedules and workflow in your respective work area. Responsible for directing your crew with specific job duties, training, and assisting other employees as needed. Leading by example, for instance; ensure the employees in your area abide by the company policies and procedures, including safety requirements (wearing safety glasses, lead & have a backup for ergonomic exercise, etc.).
Job Requirements:
College degree preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum 18 months Crew Chief preferred or equivalent experience.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to read/use close tolerance measuring devices.
Ability to read, interpret customer requirements.
Ability to determine upon initial, in-process, receiving and final inspection if an item meets customer requirements.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am-1:30pm with overtime as required
