Patient Access Clerk

Pay Rate/Range: $15/hr 

Description: Seeking a Patient Access Clerk for a local healthcare facility. The Patient Access Clerk obtains all necessary information (including insurance eligibility verification and signatures from patients) before admission to facility and distributes necessary paperwork to the appropriate staff/departments. Transports patients as needed to correct location as needed. Collects co-pays, co-ins and deductible amounts per insurance eligibility program and contracts. Will take patient payments on accounts and complete daily deposits. 

Job Requirements: Must have excellent communication and customer service skills. Previous office or administrative experience is required, will be required to pass clerical computer testing.

Shift/Schedule: Friday-Monday, 6:00pm-2:00am
