Pay Rate/Range: $24-28/hr DOE
Description: Local aircraft company is seeking to add an experienced 5 Axis Machinist to their team. The Machinist operates a variety of machine tools such as 3 & 5 axis to fabricate parts. The Machinist loads parts in the machine, cycle's machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
Job Requirements: 1 year machinist experience, ability to stand 7-9 hours/day, lift/carry 50 pounds or more, able to read micrometer, calipers and any other measuring tool for the job, plus the ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders.
Job Type: Contract to hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
