Lead Manufacturing Paint Technician

AppleTree Staffing is looking for a Lead Manufacturing Paint Technician to join our client's growing team in Johnson County.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate painting workflow across production teams.

• Apply wet spray and powder coat finishes using air-fed HVLP spray equipment.

• Interpret and follow detailed engineering paint diagrams and specifications.

• Identify and resolve painting process issues while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Ensure the correct application of a variety of paints and finishes (organic/inorganic).

• Train, mentor, and oversee team members to ensure safety, efficiency, and consistency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of industrial or automotive painting experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with HVLP spray systems.

• Skilled in wet spray and powder coating techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering paint diagrams.

• Knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and surface prep.

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
