Production Support Associate

AppleTree Staffing is partnering up with one of our Greenwood manufacturing clients searching for a Production Support Associate. THESE ARE FULL TIME CAREER OPPORTUNITIES; NOT TEMP JOBS!

This is a full time 1st shift position, Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate equipment such as band saws, cut off saws, de-burr tools, grinders, polishers, deep hole drilling, laser marking machines, etc.

• Use basic measurement tools such as measuring tape and calipers

• Perform visual inspection and basic quality inspection

• Use hand tools to hold, grasp and handle materials

• Use production computers and software systems to look up or enter information

• Communicate with team members to troubleshoot/resolve equipment error codes

• Suggest and implement Lean manufacturing principles

• All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1-2+ years of relevant experience

• Ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented

• Ability to use hand tools and operate machines

• Comfortable reading and understanding basic drawings, diagrams, and production orders

• Proficient in operation of computers and computer related software systems

• Strong work history

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 25 pounds frequently

• Ability to see color is a bona fide occupational qualification

JOB TYPE: Full-time
SHIFT: 1^{st (6:45a-3:30p)}

PAY RATE: $17.25
