Production Supervisor

AppleTree Staffing is excited to be partnering with a client in Columbus looking for a Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a diverse manufacturing team. The goal of the Production Supervisor will be to properly organize production associates and achieve a reasonable workflow throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Directing, coaching, training, and assisting production associates

• Help production associates achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job result

• Train production associates while enforcing company policies and guidelines

• Ensure that production plans are completed in a timely manner

• Communicate with maintenance personnel on machine repair issues

• Communicate with and assist other manufacturing departments as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all workers

• Compile and analyze production records

• Manage time keeping records for production associates

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory experience

• Excellent coaching and communication skills

• Knowledge of production planning processes

• Strategic planning skills

• Able to deal with complex situations in a fast-paced setting
