CNC Programmer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and technical background and experience programming CNC machinery. The ideal candidate is familiar with programming in G & M code, and doesn't rely on conversational programs such as Mastercam, etc. This role involves setting up and programming Haas and Doosan CNC machines to produce precision parts according to drawings and blue-prints, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and program CNC machines, to manufacture components as per engineering drawings.

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.

• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products.

• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.

• Assemble components as needed, ensuring proper fit and function.

• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

• Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming Haas and Doosan CNC machinery.

• Excellent understanding of G & M code.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.

• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

• Experience in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical specifications accurately.

• Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
