American Workforce Group has partnered with a local well known metal fabrication shop to help them find a great candidate to add for a Temp assignment to help the company get into the new year.

Description of Accounting Clerk 

- Assisting with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and customer/vendor correspondence.

- Recording financial transactions accurately and promptly in the accounting system.

- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

- Providing exceptional customer service to both internal employees and external customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.


Details of Accounting Clerk

- $ 20+ DOE 

- Day shift Monday - Friday 

- 8 am to 4 pm 

- Full time 

- Temp to hire


Requirements and Qualifications of Accounting Clerk 

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience required.

-Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.


Physical Requirements of Accounting Clerk 

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk through duration of scheduled shift (8 hours per day).

- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
