JobSquad, formerly Advance Employment, is hiring full time Carpenter / Framer to perform consistent, steady work on a variety of residential projects throughout mid-Michigan. Candidate would be driving to foreman's location in Gregory, MI and riding with the crew to the job site each day.
Responsibilities:
- Shaping, cutting, and fitting materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum carpentry experience required
- Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to do basic math and read a tape measure.
Duties:
- Wood framing
- Metal Framing
- Demolition and/or cleanup
- Drywall hanging
