    The JobSquad Solutions is currently looking for a Controls Technician to work at a company located in Jackson, MI!


    We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join a premier automotive supplier in Jackson, MI, on a full-time, Direct Hire basis. Our client is a leader in the automotive industry, recognized for its innovative solutions and commitment to quality. This position offers competitive wages at $30/hr., along with a generous benefits package. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, designing, and testing electrical components, equipment, and systems. Work hours are 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am.


    Summary of Responsibilities:

    • Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties:
    • Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
    • Develop electrical schematics and BOMs using AutoCAD.
    • Integrate and program Fanuc robots.
    • Troubleshoot PLCs, motion controllers, and servo drives.
    • Support automated manufacturing lines.
    • Provide technical input for business and productivity initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Research and recommend new technologies.


    Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of related experience.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Strong programming and troubleshooting skills for PLCs.
    • Experience with automated industrial equipment.
    • LabVIEW knowledge.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • A team player with the ability to work independently.
    • Frequently lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs.
