Position Overview:
Brevard County is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Full-Time Recreational Aide to support our after-school and community recreation programs. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, planning engaging group activities, and helping to create a positive, safe environment for program participants.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the daily operation of the after-school program

Lead and support group activities including arts and crafts, dance, nature activities, and more

Support basic administrative tasks such as answering phones, preparing reports, and assisting with program planning

Collect program fees and issue accurate receipts

Help maintain a clean and welcoming facility environment
Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children (including volunteer experience)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A valid driver’s license is required

Must be able to pass a drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)
