Laser Engraver

Job Duties:

• Clean and polish engraved areas.
• Examine engraving for quality of cut, burrs, rough spots, and irregular or incomplete engraving.
• Print proofs or examine designs to verify accuracy of engraving, and rework engraving as required.
• Measure and compute dimensions of lettering, designs, or patterns to be engraved.
• Set equipment controls to meet cutting specifications.
• Use observation skills to identify parts and correctly rack the parts.
• Maintain the equipment and cleanliness of the work area.
• Maintain a proper workflow to achieve production goals.
• All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Some related experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documentation such as safety rules and work process instructions.
• Ability to follow instructions, accept corrections, contribute ideas, and work well with the team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-Time, Mon-Th 8:00am-4:30pm, occasional Fridays when workload requires
Wage: $12.50/hr.
