Cook

Hiring now for an experienced Cook to assist with the Meal on Wheels program in Ravalli County. Join a dedicated staff that provides over 200 meals, made from scratch, on a daily basis.  

Duties: 

• Assist with all phases of meal preparation 
• Prep ingredients, follow recipes and cooking instructions
• Maintain kitchen sanitation keeping work area clean and free of unsanitary items and objects
• Assist in meal delivery
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a kitchen required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation 
• Able to use a wide variety of culinary tools and equipment
• Valid current driver’s license
• Reliable vehicle with proof of full coverage insurance
• Good attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Able to lift up to 50+lbs.

Job Type: Monday-Friday 30 hrs/week

Wage: $14/hr. mileage reimbursement of $0.575/mile
