A2Z is hiring for a concrete laborer, or concrete form laborer, who specializes in building structures from concrete materials. Duties include building forms, pouring concrete, and then spreading and smoothing concrete using various tools. The perfect candidate should have excellent physical stamina and enjoy working with their hands.
Duties:
• Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantling forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts, or form hardware.
• Grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately
• Mix concrete and mortar
• Pour and maintain concrete forms
• Perform equipment checks
• Assist in aligning, straightening, plumbing, and squaring forms for installation
• Construct forms, then assist in raising them to the required elevation
• Keep all machinery clean inside and out
• Safely operate a forklift and or loader to help customers load up purchased products, as well as load company trucks
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles and/or equipment, and immediately notify the supervisor
Qualifications:
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds using a proper lifting technique
• Must have good customer service skills, basic math skills, and skills in operating heavy machinery
• Must have a valid MT driver’s license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment physical
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Saturday 6 am-5 pm
Wage: $18/hr.
