General Job Tasks & Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as basic care, bathing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation arrangements, including doctor appointments and outings.
- All other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a related role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and supportive attitude.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and respect privacy at all times.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks and assist clients with mobility.
- Understanding of basic health and safety protocols in a caregiving environment.
- Properly use a mechanical lift upon training.
- A valid State driver's license and clean driving record are required.
- Able to lift to 25-50 lbs. and use proper lifting techniques.
- Able to wear PPE as needed.
